Flightstats Launch Local Flights Info Website

Flightstats launch a new web site designed to give flight status and airport info to UK based visitors. The new site features a map giving up to date airport delay details, showing all UK and Irish airports.

It is also possible to search via flight, route, or by airport. Also available from the same company is a new flight tracker, that allows visitors to see the location of actual flights in European airspace. The results are displayed on a Google(tm) Map, with the route tracing and also an overlay of weather details.

The new, local info website makes it far easier to recieve up to date flight information, and it possible due to an agreement with AirNav Systems. These facilities have been requested frequently by visitors to the main flightstats.com site.

“The localised version will make it that much easier to get timely, complete and accurate information on flight status and airport conditions in the UK and across the globe,”

said Jeff Kennedy, CEO of Conducive Technology Corp., FlightStats’ parent.

The new site also serves as a hub for a plathora of flight information, from airport weather to current airport delay conditions.
